" I really like antique jewelry," explains Jude Clarke. " I wanted to get that feeling of something that's been through a process." So she put the metals she uses through a rigorous process, oxidizing the metals with liver of sulfer, then burnishing it with fine steel wool. She places precious stones to balance the Art-Deco-style patterns achieved in sterling silver and 18 - 22 karat gold. The final effect is one of well-worn and enduring beauty, the intrigue that comes with age and experience.
